“We need to continue to be unified. Now’s not the time to relax. Even though we’ve done some hard work, there’s still a lot of hard work ahead. Just because we won a battle, the war’s not over yet. We still have a lot to accomplish.”
— Ron Roberts, Chief Steward, Senior Signal Maintainer
“We were with VTA in the bad times. Now we would like VTA to be with us in the better times.”
— Steve Barber, Assistant Chief Steward, Technical Project Manager
“We just want to negotiate a fair contract for our members, and for VTA to continue to do the right thing. We want to see all members get involved.”
— Bonnie Gonzalez, Bargaining Team member, Office Specialist II
“After putting our own money into the Harvey Rose audit, it’s harder for VTA to hide money. They’re definitely in the black. Members deserve to be made whole.”
— Tammy Dhanota, Bargaining Team member, Public Communications Specialist II
