And a judge’s recent decision in Sacramento proves it.
The Kings County Board of Supervisors had unlawfully changed its rules governing contracts midstream in June 2011 at the request of CLOCEA, in its bid to weaken the strength of SEIU workers. We fought back. SEIU 521 members sued the county asking the state to make the county follow the law.
And the state said yes, the county had broken the law when it did what CLOCEA asked.
