More than 1,000 SEIU 521 members from the Santa Clara County Chapter showed what people power looks like when the Board of Supervisors held a budget hearing on June 14. Members are fighting for a fair contract and equitable share in cuts. A vote on the county’s takeaway contract proposal is scheduled for June 20.
