Tele-town hall to take back our courts May 24

The AOC is still at it.

With the state budget in crisis, the central court bureaucracy is still aiming to close courtrooms and lay off workers.

Join our tele-town hall at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 24 to learn more about our campaign to keep our courts open.

You’ll get a phone call today to alert you to tomorrow’s tele-town hall. If that’s the number you want to use, you don’t need to do anything but answer your phone Thursday.

If you don’t get a call tonight, that means your phone number is not on our list. But you can call in by dialing 1 (800) 216-7211.

You’ll hear about what you can do to help. We need court workers to do everything, whether it’s lobbying legislators in Sacramento or spending 10 minutes of your break talking to the people in line at your court.

To join our tele-town hall at 6 p.m. Thursday, just pick up your phone.
