Senate passes flu vaccine bill

SB 1318, the bill that would require hospitals to have 90 percent of their workers vaccinated against the flu, passed the state Senate and is on its way to the Assembly.

But the bill has a new clause allowing a two-year education period. And the punitive mandates have been removed.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on this bill.
