Voting begins on Tulare Co. tentative agreement

Tulare PERB groupThe bargaining team has wrapped up negotiations for a new contract this week. Now it’s up to Tulare County members to vote whether to accept or reject the agreements made with management. The bargaining team strongly urges Tulare County workers to vote YES!

The agreement calls for merit steps are to be paid out effective July 29, so our decision must go to the BOS by July 18.

We’ll talk about the contract proposal in detail at a meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 11. Voting will also be allowed at the meeting.

Voting is open to all Tulare County workers who are SEIU members in good standing.
