San Benito County member and husband named Red Cross Volunteers of the Year

San Benito County Chapter Treasurer Catherine Farnham and her husband Bob were named Red Cross Volunteers of the Year in 2012.
San Benito County Chapter Treasurer Catherine Farnham and her husband Bob were named Red Cross Volunteers of the Year in 2012.

Catherine and Bob have rallied their members and responded when emergencies struck as Disaster Action Team Leads in San Benito County.

In one way or another, this duo has supported Red Cross efforts in San Benito County for the past 12 years.

Catherine has spent years assisting in Disaster Health Services as a licensed medical professional.
Bob is a wiz at computers and radios and has found creative ways to ensure the Hollister Red Cross office is always covered electronically.

Both are trained and ready to assist with local or national emergency response and both have been deployed for major disasters within the last two years.

Congratulations, Catherine and Bob! And thank you for your service to our community!

    Well deserved congrats to the Farnhams. Stalwart members and always on duty. I think the name of the Chapter has changed? But same service and dedication to Red Cross Mission.
