FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) – Hundreds of Fresno County workers hit the picket line Wednesday for the third day in a row.
The members of the Services Employees International Union (SEIU) are protesting a 9% salary cut by the county.
They say county supervisors have not acted in good faith when negotiating the most recent contract.
County leaders say they chose to cut salaries instead of cutting jobs.
The state labor board ordered both sides to a meeting in Sacramento on Thursday and Friday to see if they can resolve their issues.
