Tired of management perks and increased workload, Monterey County workers rallied Tuesday, Aug. 27 at the Board of Supervisors in Salinas.
While the cost of living has continued to increase, employees have not received a COLA in more than five years. At the same time management has continued to receive salary increases.
Members are calling for a fair contract that puts taxpayers and community services first.
