San Benito County is misleading its own employees!

CAO Ray Espinosa and several  members of the Board of Supervisors are misinforming workers and insinuating that our SEIU Local 521 Bargaining Team has refused to come back to the table.

FACT: Our Bargaining Team did NOT walk away from the table. In fact, it was CAO Ray Espinosa who recommended to the Board of Supervisors these drastic cuts.

FACT:  We had requested to meet prior to the Jan. 21 imposition by the Board.  Read our correspondence here: Correspondence regarding BOS Agenda Item 14

FACTRead our Jan. 23 email to CAO Ray Espinosa questioning his misleading tactics and asking him to clarify if in fact the county wants to resume talks.

For more FACTS, come to the Emergency Chapter meeting to vote and get the latest news. Now more than ever we MUST STAND TOGETHER AND NOT BE DIVIDED BY MANAGEMENT SCHEMES!

Solidarity!
