Beware of misleading “union” credit card advertising

If you received  a letter in the mail  from a company called Union Workers Credit Services offering a credit card account, be sure to read the fine print!

The Better Business Bureau reports this business “has a pattern of complaints concerning Advertising, Sales, and Services Issues.”

According to the BBB: “What the consumer receives in the mail is a paper card  and a magazine to order from.  Consumers are not told the card received is not a major credit card and can only be used to purchase the company’s merchandise. ”
