Cap on IHSS care will hurt California’s most vulnerable

Unfortunately, Gov. Brown’s recent proposal to cap workers’ hours will do just that. Read more.

Answer: B. Shortly before shipping off to fight in World War II, Chavez was arrested and detained for refusing to sit in the “Mexicans” section of a segregated movie theater in Delano, CA. While most of his legacy is focused on workers’ rights, he always saw his work as part of a larger struggle for human dignity.
