Thursday, August 21 is a celebration of some of the diverse cultures in our county.
Our Agency provides services in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Farsi, Tagalog, Cantonese, Russian, Arabic, Laotian, Mandarin, Korean, Samoan, American Sign Language, Portuguese, Hmong, French, Ilocano, Japanese, Thai, Italian, Mien, and others.
We have learned to see these languages and cultures as assets, not liabilities, to our Agency and communities. We have learned to value people whether they are Gay, Lesbian, Disabled, Asian, African, Latino, or European. As workers we feel more comfortable working in an agency that respects and values our culture, our sexual orientation, and our backgrounds.
It is all about respect for all.
