On Oct. 14, Stanislaus County amended their last offer to choose between the two 4-year offers; 4,1,1,3 or the 5,0,0,3. As part of that offer the County offered the bargaining team the ability to put it to vote without the requirement to tell the members to accept the agreement. As a result, the voting membership shall have the decision to accept or decline the County’s offer.
To be very clear, the bargaining team, as a group, is neutral and is not offering a collective instruction to the membership as to the best course to vote. The decision is yours. Health Benefit vote information is below.

For the Contract Ratification vote, the following offers to be voted on by the membership are:
4% restoration in November 2014, 1% restoration in July 2015, 1% COLA in July 2016 and 3% COLA in July 2017
5% restoration in November 2014, and 3% COLA in July 2017.
Decline both offers. If elected, this option results in no changes. Fact finding is scheduled for 10/29/14 and will go forward if the offers are rejected.
Included in both Options 1 & 2:
- Term: 4 years
- Holiday office closure on 12/24/14 and 12/26/14. Employees will need to utilize SALT, vacation time, other approved time off, or doc. time.
