Tulare members vote to stay stronger together

Members in Tulare County’s Bargaining Unit 3 voted to keep agency shop because we understand that our strength comes from standing together. By retaining agency shop, we have the power to bargain for the best contract for our community.  We’re ready to get into our next bargaining session with a united voice.

Bargaining surveys will go out this week and we need everyone to commit to getting a contract that puts our Community First. Our last time bargaining with the board was tough, but we got the best contract we’ve had in years thanks to everyone willing to pitch in. No one can predict the next session, but we should all expect the best and prepare for the worst. Showing that we’re ready to stand together is a great start.

Make sure to look for your bargaining survey and return it as soon as possible. If you want to get involved in getting the best possible contract, make sure to indicate that on the survey and contact your steward or your organizer to get all the information you need.
