It’s time to fix California’s broken child care system.
Kid Governor unveiled child care legislation in Sacramento and now she needs your help to make it a reality!
California parents are struggling to pay for quality child care—even while child care workers are struggle to earn a living. Parents worry that without effective, affordable child care their children will start kindergarten behind and never catch up. But we can help Californians break out of this circle of rising inequality.
Lend your hand to support for The Raising Child Care Quality and Accessibility Act. The act provides:
- More low-cost child care openings for working parents
- A voice with the State for front-line family child care providers
- Expand training for all early educators
- Research on most effective ways to support low-wage parents
Join us to demand a child care system that truly values California’s children and the providers care for and teach them!
SEIU Local 521 Child Care Providers are not just coming together to win a union voice. Our campaign is also about raising the standards and improving our state’s early education system.
