LA City Raises Min. Wage to $15

Los AngelesOn May 19, the Los Angeles City Council passed a $15 minimum wage for 2020 that stands to improve the lives of workers in the city. Roughly 40% of Los Angeles workers earn less than $15 now, so this is an important win!

With this move, Los Angeles joins the growing list of cities that are raising wages for its lowest paid workers.

Seattle, San Francisco, now Los Angeles, soon New York–the Fight for $15’s momentum is undeniable.
