Holiday Giving Season

In the spirit of the holidays, many of our members are leading donation drives, proving that we mean it when we say: “Community First!”

APALA Coat Drive
Our APALA Caucus Members in Fresno donated 30 jackets to disadvantaged children at Greenberg Elementary School. Congratulate them on Facebook!

Women & Latino Caucus
Our Women and Latino Caucus Members also purchased gifts for ten women and ten children adopted through the Holy Caucus Women’s Day Shelter.
Congratulate all their efforts and dedication on Facebook!

In our Fresno office, we had the following donation drives:

  • APALA Coat Drive (various schools)
  • Holy Cross Shelter (adopted kids for Christmas and toiletries for the homeless)
  • Holy Cross Women’s Shelter (jackets for homeless women)
  • Juvenile Justice Campus Donation (stationery items for incarcerated kids)
  • Glove Drive (disadvantaged kids at Fresno Unified School District)

In our San Jose office, we collected winter clothes for homeless high school students and one of our members, Henrietta Morales, collected toys and gift cards for clients and their children at Gardner.

In Redwood City, we participated in the San Mateo County Union Food and Toy Drive to provide assistance to union families in need.

We come from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, and our caucuses are a great opportunity for members to get involved in the community and become activists for the issues we all care about. And we give back to our communities.
Join one of our awesome groups!
