New Tentative Agreements with Fresno County

Our Fresno County bargaining team has made another step forward for front-line workers with SEIU Local 521. We’ve reached a tentative agreement on salary increases for classifications in Bargaining Units 3, 12, and 36. The latest agreement is only possible because of the solidarity and dedication members have shown over the years.

Step by step, we are winning for working people in Fresno County with a contract that puts our community first. Only by standing together, rebuilding our power and our relationships with the Board of Supervisors have we made so much progress. When we make the case for investing in quality public services, we win.

If approved by the membership, the following classifications will see wage increases ranging from 3.46%-15.43% effective April 24, 2017 subject to ratification by the Board of Supervisors:

Clinical Supervisor
Supervising Account Clerk
Account Clerk I, II, III
Senior Licensed Mental Health Clinician
Licensed Mental Health Clinician
Unlicensed Mental Health Clinician
Senior Licensed Psychologist
Unlicensed Psychologist
Utilization Review Specialist

Salary increases will be given in addition to the 2.5 percent salary increase that will occur on July 1, 2017. A voting schedule will be announced soon.
