Two Hours of Prevention Will Help Us Avoid Injuries

In April, child care providers across California emailed our elected leaders in Sacramento to urge them to support the Child Care Stability and Health Safety Act, AB 676. Together, we sent over 2,000 emails to our leaders and they listened. AB 676 passed the Assembly Health and Human Services Committee by a vote of 4-to-1 and will now be heard in the Assembly Appropriations Committee on Wednesday, May 17.

The power of our collective voice is undeniable, but our work is far from over! Make sure the Child Care Stability and Health Safety Act (AB 676) passes the Assembly Appropriations Committee and is one step closer to Governor Brown’s desk.

“As a child care provider, this training is so important to the profession I love, and to the children and the parents I serve. The parents who come to me are counting on me to be there day in and day out. It’s crucial that child care providers like us have this training so we can keep our doors open to the kids and parents who need us. Join me and send an email in support of AB 676 to our leaders in Sacramento and let them know that you support legislation that creates a safer workplace environment for child care providers and the children in our care.”
