New Member Service Center will Improve Services
As a bigger and stronger union, our top priority is to serve members in the most efficient and convenient way possible. Now, a newly proposed statewide Member Service Center will do just that.
This streamlined Member Service Center will quickly and easily provide members with information about their contract and the laws that affect their rights at work. Stewards will work with the Member Service Center to resolve individual grievances, freeing up Internal Organizer time so that they can build power at the workplace.
A Member Service Center Committee will be formed in order to ensure that the Service Center is member driven and Local 521’s needs are met.
And by adding a state-of-the-art Member Service Center, we’ll join other locals that have already used this innovative model to boost member services.
