Progress on Healthcare: A Three-Year Plan

Healthcare ReformSEIU continues to pursue comprehensive healthcare reform in California. The coalition we worked with to push for comprehensive reform (It's OUR Healthcare!) is still together, and now we're looking to build comprehensive reform over the course of three years, step by step: new standards for insurers, transparency on cost and quality for providers, expanded coverage for children, and the creation of a public alternative to private insurers, among many other potential steps forward this year.
