This November's presidential election may be the most important election of our generation. We now have the opportunity to elect a true representative and advocate for working families in America: Barack Obama

SEIU Local 521 would like to send 5 of our most active and talented member leaders to work in battle ground states for Obama.

Members will need to take official leave from their job and work fulltime out of state from August 22 through November 4.

Members will be paid the same wage as their current job. In addition, members will receive housing accommodations, $12.50 per week for cell phones, and a $245 per week meal allowance.

If interested, please fill out an application and submit it to your worksite organizer or fax it to (408) 954-1538, Attn: Riko Mendez. Deadline is Wednesday, July 30.

If you have more questions call Riko Mendez at (408) 678-3321.

There may be more opportunities to apply for member political organizing positions after the July 30 deadline, so feel free to apply after July 30 and we’ll contact you if there are later openings.

The time for change is NOW! Get involved.
