Contract Ratification Vote Passed by Majority Vote!
May 12 - Members at First Student approved a contract! The new contract will provide a
minimum raise of 9 percent over the next 19 months. Some members will get raises as high as 27 percent! Step increases and cost-of-living raises will be in effect at the same time.

Your elected Bargaining Team for Drivers and Mechanics worked very hard and very long hours for a year and a half to improve your contract language and to get the best benefits for all members.
Special thanks to the Bargaining Team; they stuck it out through the good and the bad and improved your contract.

Our Fight for A Fair Contract
April 30 - In a solidarity action for a fair contract, bus drivers and mechanics from Fresno's First Student Chapter went out and paved over pot holes to highlight unsafe working conditions.
