As a FUSD substitute teacher, you are eligible to participate in the Western Blue Mini-Blue Program.
Mini-Blue is where FUSD students, parents and employees can purchase, and receive service for, FUSD approved HP Mini-Note personal computers.
You can purchase HP Mini-Note Notebooks, monitors, printers, software USB & DVD drives, protective sleeves, cases, backpacks, Bluetooth headphones, etc.
All you need is

SMART Board Training
Have you encountered a SMART Board in the classroom while substitute teaching? Have you wondered how to use it? Then this is the training for you. This course is designed to show you may of the basic tools so that you will feel confident, competent and comfortable using this technology.

You are encouraged to sign up for more than one session so you can have more hands on time. The more you play with the SMART Board the more comfortable you will feel in the classroom.

Contract Action Team (C.A.T.)
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce the CAT leaders to you: Jay Trachman, Esther Rojas-Jasso, Adam Aguilar, Marlene Hicks and Connor Murphy.
When asked by your Board to assist with the contract they did not hesitate to step up to the plate. For the last month your FASTA Board and the CAT leaders have been working on our proposals for the 2008-2011 contract. We still have a couple more contract proposal meetings before our deadline and the team have cleared their calendars to attend those meetings. This is what is called "going above and beyond the call." That's what substitute teachers do!
