Nominations will be open March 22-26, 2021

Nominations for Chapter Officers open Monday, March 22, 2021. The following positions are open:

• CHAIRPERSON
• VICE CHAIRPERSON
• SECRETARY

Due to the pandemic, we are using alternatives to in-person signature gathering this election:

1. You may utilize the option to send an e-mails in support of your candidate for Chapter Chairperson. When nominations open on March 22, please write an email to Tammy.Dhanota@seiu521.org which reads: “I support (name of nominee) for (Chapter position)” with your name and department you work in. This will count as your signature for this election period. Beginning Monday, March 22, candidates will be able to download a nomination form that they can fill out with their information and the names of the people who have submitted emails of support on their behalf. You will have until 5 P.M. on Friday, March 26 to submit a nomination form or signature e-mail.
    
2. You may also attend the General Membership Meeting Wednesday, March 24 at 5:00 p.m. to participate in floor nominations via Zoom. Nominations and seconds made during these meetings will not require signatures.
