In a major victory, employees of Fresno Housing Authority overwhelmingly voted YES for Agency Shop in December 2007. The vote came on the heels of employees winning their first-ever union contract. Employees in November effectively bargained for increases in wages, employer-paid health care premiums and accrued time off. Now, the group of more than 100 maintenance and clerical workers clinched another worksite victory by approving agency shop with an undeniable 82% yes vote.
