Kern Court Employees Vote to Strike
January 15, 2008 -- A clear majority of our Kern County Superior Court members voted to authorize a strike today, rejecting the Court's last, best and final offer.
Our Bargaining Team will now take steps to determine the best date to begin a strike and how long the strike will last. The Bargaining Team will also seek strike sanctions from the Kern, Inyo and Mono Central Labor Council (CLC). If granted, all the CLC member unions will support our members by not crossing our picket lines.
