Look What We've Accomplished!

 The economic stimulus package has passed, with tax relief for 129 million working families, and $60 billion in new federal funding for California. 

 Comprehensive healthcare reform is at the top of the President's agenda. 

 All but two California congressional Democrats have signed on as co-sponsors of the Employee Free Choice Act. 

 We've done dozens of legislative visits, press events and actions. 

 As of March 5th SEIU members and staff had in-depth conversations with over 3,700 people, held 161 house meetings and sent 2,091 letters to our priority legislators.

Our challenge is great but so is our opportunity!
