Today our members voted unanimously to ratify the Tentative Agreement.
The board needs to approve the Tentative Agreement, and then we will work on a Job Classification Study to develop an equitable wage scale.

We are making excellent progress towards winning a fair first contract for workers at Santa Clara Family Health Plan.
By standing strong together, we have already won TAs to establish a fair grievance and disciplinary procedure plus no more ‘at-will’ employment. We need to continue to show visible support (WEAR BLACK!) for our Negotiating Team as we head into the final stretch! We could not have come this far without member support.

Workers present strong message to Governing Board: Some movement at table, but not enough
Our negotiating team has made some solid gains in contract negotiations over the past week, but it’s not enough. Click here for more details (PDF).
At the board meeting last week, a dozen workers attended, wearing SEIU t‐shirts, and showed management we are ready to do what it takes to win a fair contract. Talk to your Contract Action Team members to get more involved and help us all win!
