Tentative Agreement Overwhelmingly Passes
VTA members voted today to accept their new contract with a decisive 93% YES vote! Among other victories, we won a step increase and a wage increase, as well as pushing back management’s two-tier plan and retroactive pay date.

VTA members press for a fair contract
Valley Transportation Authority employs some 250 SEIU-represented workers. With an (unscientific but realistic) average of 10 years of service per worker, that translates to 2,500 years of “service, dedication and expertise,” observed Mark Knollmueller, Construction Inspector for VTA.
