It’s Time to Elect Chapter Officers for 2018-2020 Term
Chapter Officer Nomination Notice
Any member who has been in continuous good standing for 12 months prior to nomination and who is presently working in the County of Tulare, is eligible for nomination and election to an Officer position.
Nominations will open 8 a.m. on November 11 for Chapter Officers’ positions. You may nominate yourself or a co-worker who you feel will represent you best. Please make sure the member you are nominating wishes to serve. To nominate your candidate, you may e-mail, fax, mail or drop off your nomination form to the union office. ALL nominations must be received by 5 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017.
All nominees will receive confirmation by e-mail or telephone call in receipt of the nomination request and verification of acceptance. Per Chapter Bylaws, Chapter Officers elected will serve a two-year term. The term will begin in January 2018 and end December 31, 2020.

Three Rivers Leadership Summit
We’re ready to start even more workplace conversations about the need for a strong union in the Central Valley after leaders met and trained for member-to-member outreach this weekend. Our Spring Surge is developing leadership and getting new tools in the hands of members so we can build a union that can stand up to any challenge, whether it comes from the Supreme Court or a single bad boss.
The hands-on training this weekend taught members how to have heartfelt conversations that move away from ideology and back to the real reasons we need our union. We are going to try to educate, agitate and inspire every worker so that all of us have a better future and we have a stronger presence in the workplace and in the community.
