Region 6 is a special region because we represent home care (or IHSS) workers in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. We take care of the elderly and people with special needs who choose to live in the dignity and comfort of their own homes. We represent approximately 18,000 home care workers who are very active and engaged in the community.
