Earlier this year SEIU Local 521 members had voted Luisa Blue to be our Chief Elected Officer and in May, top SEIU member leaders nationwide affirmed our good judgment and appointed Luisa to the SEIU International Executive Board.
As a member of SEIU’s governing body, Luisa will be a strong advocate for working families and public workers who perform vital services throughout our 17-county Local. Read SEIU’s press announcement here.
