The Central Valley Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure was held at California State University Fresno. Over 4,000 people participated locally in the different races and walks. Special recognition was given to the survivors of breast cancer present.
This is the third year SEIU Local 521 Women’s Caucus participated. This year there were 18 members who participated from SEIU 521Women’s Caucus and APALA-Fresno. Plans are already underway for the Women’s Caucus’ 2013 team participation.
