Tulare County Chapter president served the Tulare County Board of Supervisors with a lawsuit on Tuesday, May 1. Workers had agreed to suspend step increases back in 2009, and the BOS promised those increases would be granted in August 2011. But when it came time to keep their promises, the BOS reneged on the deal. SEIU 521 members aren’t giving up.
