Mediation has begun
Negotiations with state mediators began on Oct. 4. Because of the rules of State Mediation, we are not allowed to give out specifics of what was discussed but mediation is very helpful in getting the county to work with us. Progress is being made and we are happy to have two experienced state mediators working with us.
Both sides have agreed to meet again on Nov. 8. While we are working toward a favorable resolution as quickly as possible, we know that the most important thing is a good agreement for the members.
Our Bargaining Team is standing strong together and we appreciate the support and gratitude expressed by the members.
