Residents of Tulare County, where unemployment has climbed to 17 percent in 2011, asked Rep. Devin Nunes to get to work on generating jobs for his district instead of tax cuts for Wall Street.
About 70 people showed up, although Nunes was nowhere to be found.
“We are here to tell Devin Nunes to get off his duff and get us some jobs by any way possible,” said Deana Worthington, who works at the Porterville office for Tulare County HHS. “Vote for some productivity in Washington.”
