BREAKING: Tentative Agreement Reached!

Member ratification on the tentative agreement will begin on Wednesday, October 21st at 7:00 AM and conclude on Thursday, October 22nd  at 5:00 PM. Our bargaining team made up of your fellow Stanislaus County workers is recommending a YES vote to accept the Tentative Agreement. Pending the results of our membership vote, the tentative agreement will then be voted on by Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors for approval.

Highlights from the agreement:

• 1 year Contract Agreement

• 1% decrease in Medical Premiums

• 100% paid Dental & Vision premiums

• $5000 Wellness incentive for our Membership

• Participation in the Open Enrollment scheduled October 19, 2020

How To Vote

Our membership vote will be conducted completely online. To receive as many notifications as possible by Wednesday, October 21st, you must have a current email and phone number on file. Update your contact information by visiting: www.seiu521.org/signup – this can be completed in less than 2 minutes.

Only full dues-paying members are eligible to vote on the tentative agreement. If you are not a current member or unsure,  sign up to become a member here: www.seiu521.org/membership. To avoid receiving a provisional ballot, you must submit a membership application by Monday, October 19, 2020, at 9 pm.  

Election Details

Start date and time: Wednesday, October 21st, 7:00 AM

End date and time: Thursday, October 22nd, 5:00 PM

Election Format: Virtual online ballot. Eligible members will receive an email and text message from ELECTION BUDDY to cast one vote to accept or reject the Tentative Agreement. One vote per member.
