Fresno County Amends Union Contract and Offers More Raises. Read and Vote!

April 19, 2022 – VOTE ON THE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS AROUND RAISES!
Your co-workers in your union bargaining team have met with Fresno County management to discuss additional off-schedule raises to the 20+ specific classifications below. Although these raises are not applicable to every Fresno County employee we represent, this is a victory for workers and the public who depends on these services!
This is not a coincidence, it is a result due to workers like you taking actions through your union like attending worksite meetings, Fresno County Board of Supervisor public meetings, lobby visits, signing union petitions, and blowing the whistle to the public of our working conditions and how that impacts the public.
Although we have a long way to go before management fully addresses retention, fair pay for fair work, and adequate staffing levels, these raises are a step in the right direction and now it’s time for members of our union to vote on these amendments.
This movement was built for and by Fresno County employees. Let’s VOTE!

Be sure you and our fellow county colleagues are receiving union notifications in order to take part in the upcoming ratification vote that will take place electronically. Fill out this form at https://www.seiu521.org/signup
Your Union Bargaining Team is Recommending a “YES” Vote to accept the Amended Agreements.
