Kern County Employees’ Retirement Association (KCERA) Ballots have been delivered – CAST YOUR VOTE NOW!

Starting Tuesday, September 30, retirees and workers at the County of Kern, Kern Medical, Superior Courts of California Kern County, and Kern County Water Agency can cast a vote in KCERA Trustee races. Our union recently held a KCERA Town Hall, and we endorsed our support for the following working family champions:
- Robert Alvarez, Third Member (General)
- Jeanine Adams, Eighth Member (Retired)
THE WORKING FAMILIES’ CHOICE
Our union endorsement can give you confidence that these member-leaders will be the voice for workers like us at the table where critical decisions are made about our pensions.
Jeanine, a retired County employee and SEIU 521 member, has the fiscal integrity and pension board experience to defend our right to retire in dignity. Robert holds a business degree and has demonstrated leadership in transparency and accountability as a Tech Support Engineer at Kern County.
Don’t wait to cast your ballot! Ballots are due Tuesday, October 21! Read more to learn how to make sure you find your ballot and it gets counted!
