Governor Newsom and his administration understand the importance of prioritizing childcare in order to defeat this virus and we’re pleased to announce that your union recently received a vaccine update!
Beginning on Monday, April 5th, Dignity Health is administering COVID-19 vaccines at Branciforte Middle School and appointments for childcare workers in Santa Cruz county are now able to sign up!
HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
Eligible childcare workers in Santa Cruz can request a COVID-19 vaccination appointment by visiting https://myturn.ca.gov. This website is operated by the State of California and provides each county’s health department data for eligible residents to receive vaccines.
To ensure you receive your appointments:
- Completely fill out the electronic form
- One question on the form is “Please select the business/industry you work in:” Scroll and select from the list EDUCATION AND CHILDCARE.
- Enter a Santa Cruz County zip code
Once deemed eligible, you will see available appointments under “Other Locations” and then you click on Dignity Health Medical Group (Santa Cruz) – Branciforte Middle School.
OR you can dial (831) 288-6526 to receive an appointment. You should mention your occupation as Education/Childcare Worker and Santa Cruz County zip to be eligible for an appointment.
