What do COPE leaders do?

COPE stands for “Committee on Political Education” and represents the political action arm of our union SEIU 521. COPE aims to grow union power at the polls, support pro-worker candidates running for all levels of public office, facilitate member-to-member communications about political issues and elections that impact our jobs, and recommend union endorsements of political candidates.

Do you or one of your coworkers is a good candidate to help build worker power in our workplaces and our union? Nomination them today! Read on to learn how.
