Your SEIU Leadership Team here at Cupertino Union School District is currently contacting management to demand that they Meet and Confer about the following issues that have been occurring at your worksites:

  • 24-Hour Surveillance Signs – SEIU did not receive any notice and we need to know what is the purpose of this.
  • Summer Bridge Program – State of California has matching funds available for this year-round income program.
  • Health Insurance – Management is proposing increases in our costs and we, the union members, have not been informed
  • Security Guards – Our union hasn’t received any notice of the rehiring of security guards on contract.
  • Custodian Schedules – Principals are trying to force changes to Custodian Schedules without discussing them with us.
  • Shoe Allowance Procedures – Cafeteria Assistants are having difficulty getting their shoe allowances approved.
  • Uniforms – To address some issues with the uniforms, we’ve asked for a copy of the contract that the District has with this contractor.

We’re going to discuss these issues and any solutions the District is offering to work with us on and or what the status is of other issues.  We can also discuss any issues you may be having at the workplace.

Please join us at this General Membership Meeting to discuss these issues and management’s responses to our questions.
