CUSD Candidates for Vice Presidents
Omar Batres, Locksmith, Candidate for Vice President
As a dedicated union leader and Chapter President for over four years, I’ve helped guide our union through meaningful growth, unity, accountability, and respect. My focus has always been bringing people together and strengthening our collective voice. Through consistent collaboration with fellow union leaders, we’ve created stronger relationships across all unions—allowing us to address challenges together and advocate with greater strength and clarity.
Now, I’m running for Vice President to continue that work from a broader role of support and leadership. I bring experience, consistency, and a proven track record of showing up for our members when it matters most. If given the opportunity, I will continue to strengthen unity, support leadership, and ensure every member feels heard, represented, and protected.
