VOLUNTEER FOR ELECTION COMMITTEE. 

It is time to form an Election Committee for our 2026 union officer elections, and your voice is needed to help ensure the election process is fair and transparent. 

To be eligible, you must be a member in good standing and must not intend to run for office. 

If you are interested, please email Angel.ruiz@SEIU521.org and include: 

  • The number of years you have been a union member 
  • Your reason for wanting to serve on the committee

SERVE AS AN INTERIM UNION OFFICER.  

We are beginning the election process for union chapter officers, and while we will do our best to move as quickly as possible, this process may take up to three months to complete. 

During this time, our chapter needs strong leadership to continue serving our members and holding management accountable. We are seeking members interested in serving as interim union officers to continue union matters while the election process is underway. 

To be considered for an interim position, you must be a member in good standing. Positions include: 

  • Vice President 
  • Secretary-Treasurer 
  • Chief Shop Steward
