Let’s invest in our people, our services, and our infrastructure to get our state back to work safely – not cut our way out of the crisis on the backs of Black and brown families, children, and seniors. As state legislators make budget decisions, we are making it clear that we refuse to allow a budget recovery to occur on the backs of people of color and everyday workers. Thousands of community residents and SEIU 521 members across the state are fighting for a #Recovery4ALL budget. A #Recovery4All budget invests in everyday workers, uplifts neglected communities and restructures our economy to begin to heal vast fissures of income inequality and structural racism. If you haven’t already, add your voice by sending an email action in less than two minutes: https://www.seiu521.org/healthyfuturenow
