Election committee
Three (3) members can volunteer for the Election Committee to oversee the bargaining team nomination and election procedures. Must be in good standing with our union and agree not to nominate or run for bargaining team or officer positions. The election committee will be finalized in the Mon. 9/29 meeting.
TIMELINE OF BARGAINING TEAM ELECTIONS
- Wed. 9/24/25 – Notice of forming an Election Committee and Bargaining Team nominations. NOTE: Bargaining team nominations must be submitted to our Union office, 1001 17th Street, Bakersfield, CA, or via email Robin.Heber@seiu521.org before 5:00 pm, Monday, September 29th. - Mon. 9/29/25 at 4:00 pm, Standard Middle School Lounge — Agenda: appointing the election committee and accepting Bargaining Team nominations from the floor, plus other general business items.
- Thurs. 10/2/25 – Electronic voting begins for Bargaining Team election
- Mon. 10/6/25 – Electronic voting ends for Bargaining Team election
