Congratulations to Jeanine Adams! Your union SEIU 521 endorsed Jeanine in her efforts to win a seat on the Kern County Employees Retirement Association Board (KCERA).
In this position on the retirement board, employees from Kern County, Kern Superior Courts, Kern Medical, and Kern Water Agency District chapters can feel confident that their pensions are protected by a fellow SEIU 521 member that understands the environment that puts our retirement under threat and will not only defend but grow our retirement security!
I’m running to represent your voice on the KCERA board because I know our retirement security hinges on who fills the seats on this retirement board. We all deserve a trusted, long-term Kern County employee who can advocate for working families and who understands why we have to build our worker power to protect these assets.

Wednesday, December 1st – KCERA ballots mailed to eligible employees’ home addresses.
Tuesday, December 7th – Your KCERA ballot must be postmarked via mail by this date to be counted. After this date, we highly encourage you to return your ballot and physically drop ballots at the Kern County Registrar of Voters Office, 1115 Truxtun Ave. 1st Floor, Bakersfield CA, 93301
Tuesday, December 14th – Last day to physically drop ballots at the Kern County Registrar of Voters Office, 1115 Truxtun Ave. 1st Floor, Bakersfield CA, 93301.
How do I receive my ballot?
Official ballots will be mailed to each eligible voter to the home address on file with their employer and all eligible voters are entitled to submit their ballot. If you have any questions or issues with your ballot, contact the Kern County Registrars Voter office at (661) 868-3590 or visit their office at 1115 Truxtun Ave. 1st Floor, Bakersfield CA, 93301.
