My name is Thomas Morgan, I’m a Library Assistant II at the County of Tulare and I’m asking for your vote as a Trustee on the Tulare County Employees Retirement Association.

I want to serve as your TCERA trustee because I believe we deserve resilient, strong and consistent growth for our pensions.  My goal is to be a voice for working families on the retirement board because I understand retiring with dignity requires retirement security. You can rely on me to put working families first.

I was born and raised in Tulare and earned my business degree on the Central Coast then returned back home. I felt I wanted to use the skills I learned to better my community and working families. I decided to work for local government because I feel too much connection to the working class to work anywhere else.

I have leadership experience in organizing my worksite and recently served on our SEIU 521 union bargaining team for Tulare County negotiations where we earned one of largest wage increases, we’ve seen in some time, a 7% increase. I’ve also served as a community advocate and in civic engagement for people working paycheck to paycheck.

I would be honored to have your vote as a TCERA trustee. Vote for me before Tuesday, October 24th!

Thomas alongside fellow Tulare County workers from various Departments.

A trusted and proven track record advocating for working families.
